My name is John Richardson. I’m 26 years old, enjoy life to the fullest, and find passion in what I do. I currently live, work, and play in the great city of Baltimore, but you will often find me in Annapolis, Washington DC, or even sometimes… International Waters
.
I started living in Baltimore several years ago when I attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County between 2001-2005. There I mainly studied Computer Science, as well as Mathematics, Psychology, and Entrepreneurship. It was the latter I truly fell in love with. After a few years of working and a couple small business ventures (including InsaneTee), I found my passion with Web Design and Internet Marketing.
I founded Swank Internet Business Solutions LLC in early August of 2009. Swank IBS is an Internet Marketing firm specializing in assisting companies maximize their online potential. We primarily work with Ecommerce and Lead Generation websites, and do everything from Site Design and Development, to Organic Search Engine Optimization and Managing Online Marketing Campaigns. As the founder and first employee of Swank IBS, I often find myself filling as many shoes as I can fit – working long hours and weekends often. But I enjoy very much what I do, and find passion in my work, even during the late nights and all-night-ers!
When I’m not feeling “Swank” I am usually either in the gym, spending time with friends and family, or out on a boat cruisin’ the bay. Of course from time to time you can also find me with a Heineken light in one hand and a pool cue in the other. I always enjoy a little social time with good friends.
If there is one thing in life that I have certainly learned, it is this: “Action evokes inspiration… Inspiration seldom evokes action” (Frank Tibolt). So don’t wait for your life to pass by. Follow your instinct and JUST DO IT! If we as humans learn from our mistakes, then it stands true that it is far better to have tried and failed than to not have tried at all.
Roll wid it,
John Richardson
